Well-Fit Announces the Opening of Triathlon-Specific Training Center

October 24, 2009 Chicago, IL -- Well-Fit Triathlon and Training, Inc. announced plans to open the first triathlon-specific training facility in the Midwest this January 2009. Well-Fit has leased more than 5,000 square feet of environmentally friendly space at 1700 West Hubbard where it plans to install 17 CompuTrainer cycling machines, 12 treadmills, an Endless Pool and a personal training studio stocked with the latest strength and conditioning equipment. Well-Fit Elite Team Takes Big Foot by Storm

Lake Geneva, Wis., June 22, 2008 -- The Well-Fit Elite Traithlon Team dominated the field at the 2008 Big Foot Triathlon, placing seven athletes in the top 20 overall, including the overall winner Chris Riekert, who finished in a time of 2:03:12. Brian Fort, Kenny maruyama, Aaron Black and Geoff Mikelsons finsihed first, third, fourth and fifth in the Male 25-29 age group; Simon Trude finished third in the Male 30-34 age group; and Kevin McCarthy finished second in the Male 35-39 age group. On the women's side, Mandy McCarthy finished 1st in the Female 30-34 age group; and Noelle Willhite and Stacey Izard each won their age groups and were the first and fourth overall women in the sprint distance race.

All in all, it was an impressive showing as athlete after athlete wearing the Well-Fit Elite jersey paraded to the podium. "By the end of the day," commented the race director, "everyone at the race knew who the Well-Fit Elite team was and what they were all about: winning. I've never seen anything like it."
